As we expand our operations in Europe, we are seeking a highly motivated Key Account Manager to lead commercial growth in Europe. This individual will play a strategic role in managing critical accounts, acting as both a category expert and a key interface between clients and internal stakeholders across regions.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic sales and account plans for top-tier cable manufacturers in Europe
  • Serve as the key interface between clients and internal departments—bridging engineering, supply chain, R&D, and executive leadership
  • Identify market trends, customer needs, and product opportunities; drive category performance with data-backed insights
  • Represent Hanwha Solutions Wire and Cable Division at industry conferences, trade shows, and customer meetings to enhance brand presence and thought leadership
  • Ensure seamless communication and alignment between European clients and our two global headquarters in Seoul and Milan
Qualifications
  • Strong network and reputation within the European cable industry and related industries across the value chain
  • Fluency in Italian, German, or French; minimum B2-level English proficiency required
  • Proven success in B2B sales or category management, ideally within the cable, power, or industrial materials sector
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all organizational levels
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, engineering, or a related field
Preferred Experience
  • Background with a leading European cable manufacturer or infrastructure provider
  • In-depth knowledge of power transmission, cable components, and materials (e.g., XLPE, Semicon, Jacket compounds)
  • Prior experience in category management or commercial strategy roles
  • Technical aptitude or experience liaising between technical and commercial teams
