BUNGE has a very dynamic and exciting opportunity as a Junior Trader – Refined Oils. In this role you will be responsible for commodity trading and support to the senior traders in the specific program and general commercial activities.

Main Accountabilities
  • Be part of a well‑experienced team.
  • Comply with budgeted refined and crude sales assigned per geographical area, customer and product in volume and in contribution to variable and fixed costs.
  • Follow up of the budgeted refined and crude sales and report monthly deviations in volume and contribution.
  • Customer visits on a yearly basis. Develop sustainable long‑term relationships with key accounts. Provide purchase advice to customers. Optimize sales to achieve growth and margins.
  • Contract management – be accountable for contract execution, negotiating backlogs and financing when they arise.
  • Follow up of receivables to keep track of our Working Capital performance and implement financial tools in place to improve ROIC.
  • Collect and analyze market information. Be in the market and provide good information for our competitive analysis and positioning decisions.
  • Engage in the Italian vegoils SND to help drive better decision‑making.
  • Capacity/margin management: Optimize production and coordinate changes with the industrial and quality teams.
  • Coordinate with the DCVC team. Align plant capacities and seek optimization of our refineries and oil import flow.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
  • University degree in business, agricultural sciences or a related field.
  • Skill in decision‑making and negotiation.
  • Fluent Italian and English. Additional languages (French, Spanish, German) are an advantage.
