Overview

Junior Quality Auditor - Italy

The aim of the Junior Quality Auditor position is to monitor and improve the overall quality of our products across our points of sale. The role focuses on continuous evaluation and analysis of the kiosks, proposing action plans and ensuring these are carried through. The role will also participate in the development and roll-out of cross-country quality projects and activities.

Department – Quality

Reporting to – Food Safety and Quality Manager

Direct reports – None

Working with (external and internal relationships) – Kiosks, Partners, External Auditing Partners, head office, and Local team.

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)
  • Support the creation and delivery of action plans to implement the food safety strategy developed by the Quality Department.
  • Travel country-wide to conduct periodic audits of existing kiosks, complete comprehensive evaluation reports, and follow up with appropriate corrective action plans.
  • Provide field support and training with local teams, focusing on quality (hygiene, food safety) related issues.
  • Provide theoretical and practical food safety training for kiosk staff and managers.
  • Build long-lasting, meaningful business relationships with kiosk staff and managers.
  • Analyze the results of inspections and conduct microbiological analysis.
  • Address issues relating to non-compliance and customer complaints to improve and maintain food safety standards.
  • Participate in periodic internal review meetings to discuss and address any food safety/quality topics.
  • Monitor and manage the accuracy and calibration of key measuring devices (e.g., weighing scales, thermometers) and oversee internal and external verification of devices as appropriate.
  • Participate and contribute to the ongoing development of acceptable standards involving purchasing of ingredients, detergents, dress code, and hygiene equipment.
Who You Are (Skills and Qualifications)
  • Some experience in a similar position within the food & beverage/hospitality/food production sector.
  • Ability and willingness to drive around the country to audit kiosks.
  • Knowledge of HACCP, ISO 22000 and food safety legislation (EU and national).
  • Fluent in Italian and English (spoken and written); additional language skills are advantageous.
  • Effective problem solver with the ability to think creatively.
  • Knowledge of Asian culture and cuisine is a distinct advantage.
