The Opportunity

The Junior Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate and well‑organized financial records, ensuring all postings are completed in a timely manner and in full compliance with local accounting standards, Group policies, and applicable financial regulations.

This role supports the business by preparing and filing tax documents, assisting with financial analysis, and contributing to informed decision‑making. Additional responsibilities may include financial forecasting, budgeting support, managing accounts payable and receivable, overseeing cash flow activities, and performing data entry with a high level of accuracy and integrity.

What You’ll Do
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year‑end financial reports with accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Reconcile income and expenditure accounts to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial records.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices in compliance with internal controls and procedures.
  • Monitor cash balances, record cash transactions, and support cash flow management activities.
  • Prepare and submit tax returns in accordance with local regulations and Group requirements.
  • Respond to financial inquiries by providing clear, reliable, and data‑driven information.
  • Support senior accountants and perform additional finance‑related tasks as assigned.
What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in accounting or finance, with a proven record of accuracy and reliability.
  • Hands‑on experience in budgeting, financial analysis, and general financial management.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, standards, and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
