A global technology company is seeking an IT Project Manager to lead software development efforts. This role involves managing medium-complexity projects while fostering agile methodologies and overseeing the entire software development life cycle. The ideal candidate will have experience in the Financial Services area, proficiency in project management tools, and strong communication skills. The position is hybrid and can be based in Milan, Rome, Parma, or Verona.

What will help you succeed:

• Background: Previous experience in the Financial Services area, either inFacility/InfrastructureorFinance/Derivatives.
• Demonstrated experience in the successful management of medium-complexity software projects (Fixed Price, T&M, or other engagement types), with a proven track record in comprehensive SDLC management.
• Software Development Life Cycle Knowledge: A deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) in all its stages (planning, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance).
• PM Tool Proficiency: Advanced experience with industry-leading project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Asana, or MS Project.
• Agile and PMI Methodologies: Deep knowledge and practical experience in Agile and/or PMI methodologies, with a particular emphasis on their effective application to software development and SDLC management.
• Metrics and KPIs: Solid knowledge and experience in defining, tracking, and optimizing key software performance metrics (e.g., team velocity, defect rate, cycle time). Uses these metrics for strategic decision-making, identifying areas for improvement, and communicating progress.
• English: B2 level or higher, indispensable for communication in global environments.
• Excellent Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to interact with technical teams, vendors, management, and clients.
