A leading testing and certification company in Italy is seeking an Instrumentation & Electrical Technician. In this role, you will manage electrical and instrumentation activities on customer sites, ensure quality in gas analysis, and train new engineers. The position requires strong technical knowledge, along with a customer-oriented attitude. Fluent Italian is essential, while English proficiency is preferred. This is an excellent opportunity for recent engineering graduates.

Competenze

• Degree in engineering (preferred).
• Experience in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of electrical circuits, control systems, calibration, and instrumentation principles.
• Fluent in Italian and proficient in English.

Overview

Instrumentation & Electrical Technician for Gas Services

SGS, the world's leading testing, inspection, and certification company, is seeking an Instrumentation & Electrical Technician for our Industries & Environment Business Line. This role involves managing electrical and instrumentation activities on SGS GAS customer sites, including analyser calibrations, sample system maintenance, and system commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Develop knowledge of gas analysis instrumentation and process requirements.
• Understand testing standards and analysis methods.
• Train new engineers on instrumentation activities and site experiences.
• Travel to customer sites for gas testing and sample retrieval.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering (preferred).
• Experience in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of electrical circuits, control systems, calibration, and instrumentation principles.
• Customer-oriented with problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of safety regulations, especially for hazardous environments.
• Positive attitude, able to work independently and in a team.
