In House Counsel – Group Strategic Legal Affairs
Job Description

Within the Group General Counsel function, we are looking for a talented and proactive resource to join the Group Strategic Legal Affairs team.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting all activities carried out by the team, notably in M&A, bancassurance, equity and debt capital markets transactions, corporate finance and strategic partnership transactions.
  • In-depth legal analysis, negotiating transaction documents and presenting such transactions to the internal stakeholders (e.g., M&A business teams, Group CFO area, group Strategy), also managing the relationship with them, the local entities and business units involved in each project, as well as appointing and managing external legal advisors, when involved.
Requirements
  • At least 4 years of experience in international or large national law firms or in legal departments of structured, international companies (with preference of financial institutions).
  • Previous experience in M&A, equity and debt capital markets transactions, corporate finance as well as proven ability to actively negotiate the main transaction documents for such deals.
  • Italian and English proficiency.

  • Ability to perform under pressure.
  • Ability to quickly integrate in a highly structured environment and with existing team members.
