A pharmaceutical company in Ancona is seeking an intern for its Impurities Identification & Testing department. The candidate will assist with chemical analyses and gain practical lab experience, primarily focusing on mass spectrometry and other techniques. Competenze

  • Degree in Chemistry, CTF, Pharmacy or related fields is required.

We are looking for an intern to join our Impurities Identification & Testing department, who will assist the team in chemical analysis of pharmaceutical specialties and raw materials, gaining practical experience in the laboratory, with a particular focus on mass spectrometry techniques.

The internship includes the following activities:

  • Supporting analytical chemists in sample preparation and use of various analytical techniques (potentiometry, Karl Fisher, high-resolution liquid chromatography (HPLC), gas chromatography, UV, dissolution testing, etc.)
  • Working in an environment of compliance with good laboratory practices and GMP

The ideal candidate has the following requirements:

  • Degree in scientific disciplines (Chemistry, CTF, Pharmacy or related fields)
  • Interest in chemical analysis in the pharmaceutical field
  • Basic knowledge (even theoretical) of techniques such as HPLC/UHPLC, GC, dissolution testing, Karl Fischer, etc. will be considered a plus
  • Good knowledge of English (written and spoken)
  • Motivation to learn and ability to work in a team
