What We're Looking For

We're looking for an HR Specialist to temporarily join our Administration team and support our operations during a maternity leave. The ideal candidate has operational HR experience, excellent communication skills and the ability to take ownership of day-to-day HR processes in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Location & Duration

Modena, Italy – On-site

Full-time maternity cover contract; exact duration to be discussed during the interview.

What You’ll Be Doing

As an HR Specialist you will:

  • Manage employment contracts and consultant agreements ensuring accurate payroll inputs and data coordination with our external provider
  • Coordinate end-to-end recruitment and selection processes including job posting, screening, scheduling and feedback management
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of internal HR policies and benefit programs
  • Schedule internal training and professional development initiatives
  • Monitor performance review cycles and ensure timely execution
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws including managing safety training and mandatory medical visits
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to manage and optimise office spaces and work environments
What You Need
  • At least 1 year of experience in Human Resources, ideally in a scale-up tech or professional services environment
  • Educational background in Human Resources or related fields
  • Knowledge of Italian labour law and HR best practices
  • Hands-on experience in managing recruitment, contracts and payroll coordination
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Fluency in Italian and professional working proficiency in English
  • Proactivity, attention to detail and flexibility in managing multiple priorities
