Following two years of extensive renovation, the historic Albergo Italia reopens under the new name Le Graal Cortina, part of the luxury collection "Le Graal".

This 5-star luxury hotel, featuring a contemporary and sophisticated design, aims to offer guests a unique and memorable hospitality experience through impeccable, empathetic, and spontaneous service. The goal is to create a welcoming and refined atmosphere where every guest feels valued and pampered. The primary objective of the team is to excel in every aspect of the guest experience—from warm welcomes and personalized attention to the high quality and uniqueness of dining and wellness services.

Job Description

Our Housekeepers are responsible for cleaning and servicing Guests’ rooms to provide a truly pleasant and comfortable experience. They ensure all suites and rooms are inviting and perfectly clean, and they address all Guests’ queries politely and knowledgeably.

Our Housekeepers collaborate with Public Space Attendants, HSK Porters, Laundry Team, Butlers, Front Office, and Maintenance staff under the supervision of the HSK Manager and Assistant HSK Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean assigned Guests’ suites and rooms according to hotel standards: making beds, dusting furniture, replenishing amenities, cleaning floors, windows, and bathrooms, and vacuuming carpets.
  • Restock beverages and food items in the mini-bar.
  • Verify the condition and functionality of the room during cleaning and report repairs to the Floor Supervisor.
  • Clean corridors and public areas around guest rooms, and maintain cleanliness of HSK offices, wardrobes, equipment, and pantries.
  • Stay informed about hotel products and services to answer Guest questions.
  • Respond to Guest questions/requests in a friendly manner, taking appropriate actions or referring issues to supervisors.
  • Support Guests with requests, including following Lost & Found procedures.
  • Check linens, towels, and equipment, report discrepancies, and notify maintenance of issues.
  • Document relevant information for records and future inquiries, and report special situations or incidents at shift end.
  • Assist with HSK porters’ services such as linen delivery and laundry processing.
  • Perform additional tasks as needed according to hotel requirements.
  • Follow hotel security, health & safety, and hygiene policies.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in luxury hotels as a Housekeeper preferred.
  • Knowledge of hotel procedures and conduct.
  • Ability to anticipate and focus on Guest needs, maintaining professionalism and a welcoming attitude.
  • High standards of grooming and hygiene.
  • Understanding of VIP and room category distinctions.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Familiarity with cleaning equipment, supplies, and techniques.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Physical stamina for repetitive tasks, lifting, standing, and bending.
  • Excellent communication skills in Italian and English.
  • Legal right to work in Italy.
