HOST RESPONSIBILITIES

RH is seeking an engaging, service-minded Host to create an extraordinary first impression for our guests. In this role, you will set the tone for the entire dining experience, welcoming guests with warmth, guiding them through their visit, and upholding the highest standards of hospitality for which RH is known. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, poised, and passionate about creating meaningful connections while delivering seamless, elevated service.
- Create a warm and inviting environment by providing First Class Service that reflects RH’s standards of hospitality
- Greet guest promptly and graciously, guide them to their table and ensure their experience begins and ends with exceptional care
- Ensure a smooth arrival experience by managing reservations, guest flow, and seating arrangements through the restaurant’s reservation system
- Maintain quality curation and organization of the host stand, coat closet, menu display, and all other dining room areas
- Serve as a brand ambassador by modeling presentation standards, engaging warmly with guests, and maintaining working knowledge of RH’s culinary and beverage offerings
- Partner with leadership to optimize seating flow, enhance the guest experience, and support overall business performance
OUR REQUIREMENTS
- Year of related experience in a guest-facing or hospitality-focused role
- Professional proficiency in English, due to the international nature of our business and the need to communicate effectively with global teams and guests
- Legal authorization to work in the country of application at the time of hire
- Meets the minimum legal age required to serve alcohol, work designated shifts, and perform the full scope of role responsibilities in accordance with local labor and safety regulations
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and variable shifts as business needs require
- Commitment to high standards of personal appearance, including adherence to uniform policies, grooming, and hygiene practices, ensuring a polished and professional presentation
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Frequent stooping, bending, and reaching, both overhead and below counter height
- Standing and walking for extended periods throughout the workday without a seated workstation
- Safely ascending and descending stairs, with or without carrying food, beverages, or service equipment
- Visually navigating dining spaces with variable lighting, including identifying guests, reading reservation screens, monitoring table turns, and observing dining-room activity
- Hearing and responding to verbal communication in an environment characterized by elevated sound and movement
- Using wireless audio devices, such as earpieces, to support communication, coordination, and multitasking in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Lifting and moving items up to kgs using appropriate equipment and safe handling techniques
