About the location

A rare gem on Florida’s Gulf Coast of Southwest Florida, Naples Beach Club, a Four Seasons Resort, is an exclusive collection of 156 luxurious beachfront private residences and a 222-room hotel all within a 125-acre walkable coastal village in the heart of Old Naples. Honoring local heritage and artfully reimagined for modern-day elegance, the resort includes residents-only facilities and amenities, a luxury spa and state-of-the-art well-being/fitness center, exquisite and diverse fine dining outlets, outdoor pursuits to include a tennis center, and an 18-hole golf course, bowling and movie theater experiences, and an exclusive private club. About the role

The Golf Superintendent oversees the maintenance, care, and daily operations of the golf course to ensure exceptional playing conditions and a safe, well-managed outdoor environment. The Golf Course Superintendent will report to the Director of Golf Maintenance and should have preferable experience with Paspalum Platinum TE & Toro two-wire irrigation systems.

What you will do
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Manages the daily maintenance of the golf course, including mowing, irrigation, fertilization, landscaping, and turf management. Ensures all greens, fairways, tees, bunkers, and practice areas are maintained to high standards.
  • Monitors course conditions throughout the day. Identifies any issues related to turf health, irrigation systems, drainage, equipment, or landscaping and reports them promptly. Coordinates with maintenance staff to ensure timely resolution.
  • Oversees irrigation systems, including scheduling, adjustments, preventive maintenance, and repairs. Ensures water usage aligns with environmental and regulatory guidelines.
  • Supervises, trains, and supports grounds and maintenance staff. Assigns daily tasks, monitors progress, and upholds safety, professionalism, and quality standards.
  • Interacts with golfers, guests, and other club staff. Answers questions, provides updates about course conditions, and ensures that all interactions reflect a high level of customer service.
  • Works harmoniously and professionally with co-workers, managers, and other departments.

NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Assists with tournament setup, special events, and unique course arrangements as directed by management.
  • Supports management with ordering supplies, conducting inventory, and coordinating deliveries of equipment, chemicals, materials, and tools.
  • Provides additional labor or oversight during high-volume periods, seasonal transitions, or staffing shortages.
What you bring
  • High school diploma or equivalent (degree or certification in turfgrass management, horticulture, agronomy, or related field preferred)
  • Prior golf course maintenance or turf management experience strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of irrigation systems, turf care practices, and grounds equipment
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English
