Overview

For a Multinational Company we are seeking a Head of Financial Control, responsible for leading the Finance function in Italy. The role will oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, compliance, and team leadership, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and alignment with international standards. This position also plays a key role in process optimization and transformation initiatives across the Italian market. 10 accounting professionals and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Present key financial insights and balance sheet movements to senior management.
• Act as primary point of contact for banks, auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities.
• Collaborate with operations, business controllers, and international finance teams to improve processes and reporting quality.
• Lead projects to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and automation within the Finance function.
• Proven track record in structuring and optimizing accounting processes.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Fluency in Italian and English.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in private equity, M&A, or auditing environments is an advantage.
