Finance Specialist – 12 months temporary contract

At Lundbeck Italy , we are looking for a detail-oriented, organized, and motivated Finance Specialist to help ensure the accuracy of administrative processes and compliance with regulatory and audit requirements. In this role, you will play a key part in guaranteeing the precision of financial processes and in maintaining proper document and accounting management in line with current regulations.

Your new role

As a Finance Specialist , you will be responsible for supporting the activities of the Finance & Operational Excellence Department , ensuring accurate management of administrative and financial operations. You will act as a reference point for collecting and organizing documentation during internal and external audits, helping to maintain high standards of accuracy and compliance.

You will also collaborate with various business functions to optimize payment, archiving, and reporting processes, promoting an efficient and cooperative approach within the organization.

Your main responsibilities will include
  • Coordinating all internal and external audit requests related to the Finance Department, acting as the main contact for required documentation;
  • Supporting the preparation of the annual financial statements in collaboration with auditors, consultants, and the shared service center;
  • Managing manual payments (paybacks, donations, membership fees) ensuring accuracy and meeting deadlines;
  • Handling the archiving of mandatory books and document management in compliance with current regulations;
  • Organizing and preparing documents for board meetings and assemblies, ensuring their completeness and accuracy;
  • Managing and updating expense report procedures, ensuring alignment with company policies;
  • Overseeing the contract renewal process for the Finance & Operational Excellence Department, including supplier evaluation and verification of financial terms;
  • Contributing to the management of the Preferred Vendor System and cost monitoring in line with company SOPs;
  • Ensuring compliant digital document preservation in accordance with AgID standards.

What you bring to the team
  • Degree in Economics or related fields;
  • At least one year of experience in a similar role or related activities within structured organizations;
  • Excellent knowledge of administrative procedures and applicable regulations;
  • Precision, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with auditors, consultants, and internal teams;
  • Experience with management software, preferably SAP;
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment;
  • A collaborative, cross-functional, and project-oriented mindset;
  • Very good command of English;
  • Residence in Milan will be considered a preferred requirement.
