Overview

ABB cerca un Field Service Engineer con esperienza in sistemi di eccitazione e capacità di problem solving. Il candidato si occuperà di commissioning, troubleshooting e servizi tecnici per clienti nel settore Power Generation. Responsibilities

• Perform field service tasks, identifying technical issues, and performing analysis through remote or on-site activity in service categories and products.
• Troubleshooting equipment/process failures, requesting proactive corrective actions, and making recommendations to avoid such issues in the future.
• Performing or coordinating commissionings, services and diverse engineering activities associated with service projects and contracts.
• Preparing or providing input for technical documents such as specifications, procedures, or technical reports.
• Preparing timesheets, service reports, expense reports and other documents immediately following the work assignment.
• Proposing ways to optimize customers’ operations or make general improvements.
• Seeking other opportunities to promote customer satisfaction and foster harmonious business relations while applying all ABB policies and ethics.

Qualifications

• Immersed in service activities dedicated to the Power Generation market.
• More than 2 years of experience in Excitation Systems troubleshooting, commissioning and service activities.
• Advanced problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Availability to travel within Europe required.
• Knowledge of the standard protocols used in the industrial market and good customer relations.
• Proficiency in Italian and English communication.
• Experience with ABB Control Builder considered a plus; Electrical engineering degree considered a plus.
