A leading global industrial packaging company is seeking a Field Service Engineer to provide installation, maintenance, and training services at customer locations. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience in the industrial packaging industry, excels in problem-solving, and is willing to travel extensively. Strong technical and communication skills in Italian and English are essential for this role, which offers autonomy and opportunities for improvement suggestions.

Competenze

• At least 5 years of experience in the industrial packaging industry.
• Customer and service-oriented mindset, with ability to identify commercial opportunities.
• Willingness to travel extensively (+70%) and possession of a driving license B.

Mansioni

• Carry out preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve customer issues.
• Install new parts to optimize existing machines.
• Train customers on how to use their equipment.

Your future position in brief

• Carry out preventive maintenance on equipment
• Diagnose and resolve customer issues
• Follow up on service tasks to be performed on equipment
• Install new parts to optimize existing machines
• Occasionally participate in the installation of automated equipment with engineering teams and international customer service in America and Asia
• Perform tests to verify proper functioning of equipment
• Provide technical service of automated equipment to customers
• Recommend maintenance plans, parts, or other adjustments to customers
• Train customers on how to use their equipment

Our ideal candidate would have…

• Technical training in industrial automation
• At least 5 years of experience in the industrial packaging industry
• Electro-technical skills (ability to solve mechanical issues when necessary)
• A customer and service-oriented mindset, with the ability to identify commercial opportunities
• A passion for traveling – willing to travel extensively (+70%)
• Possession of a driving license B and residing near Parma, Italy
• Excellent communication skills in Italian and intermediate to advanced skills in English
