A global PVC film manufacturer located near Varese, Italy is seeking an experienced EXPORT COMMERCIAL MANAGER to lead international sales efforts. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of experience in international sales, strong negotiation and communication skills, and the ability to develop export strategies. Responsibilities include managing client relationships, conducting market research, and collaborating with various departments to align export activities with business objectives. Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in additional languages is a plus.

ER Services Sagl is looking for an EXPORT COMMERCIAL MANAGER for a global PVC film manufacturer with headquarters near Varese, IT.

Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management
  • Conduct regular customer visits.
  • Provide report of trade market visit (visit report).
  • Support the growth of our business with acquisition, prospection and / or development of new Clients, Agents and / or Distributors within the assigned regions (identify new market opportunities and potential customers in international markets).
  • Participate of Fairs and events to engage and prospect clients and stakeholders.
Sales and Business Development
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in international markets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationship with existing and potential international clients.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to potential clients and partners.
  • Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to senior management.
  • Make plans to achieve / exceed export sales target.
Market Research and Strategy Development
  • Conduct market research to identify potential markets and customers.
  • Develop and implement export strategies to increase market share in existing and new markets.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Develop pricing strategies and negotiate contracts with international clients.
  • Actively contribute for development of new products and solutions.
Financial Management
  • Prepare and manage export budgets and forecasts.
  • Negotiate payment terms and manage the collection of payments from international clients.
  • Assess and manage risks associated with currency fluctuations, credit and market volatility.
  • Negotiate sales contracts, pricing, and terms with international clients.
  • Monitor and implement pricing strategies, negotiate price adjustments (increase).
  • Preparation of statistics and reports for Management.
Leadership and Collaboration
  • Collaborate with other departments including Production, Supply, Customer Service, Finance, etc to ensure alignment of export activities with overall business objectives.
  • Provide training and support to the customer service team.
Education / Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred).
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in international sales of decorative films and solutions for industrial applications (furniture, doors, flooring).
  • Proven track record of achieving export sales targets and expanding market share.
  • Strong understanding of international trade market, logistics, customs procedures.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
  • Fluency in English (proficiency in additional language is a plus).
  • Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
