Overview

We are looking for a Junior Buyer (Maternity Cover), who will be placed within the European Buying Team based in Milan. The person will be responsible for managing the operational processes of the Collections assigned buying in compliance with the Company guidelines and according to the store cluster.

Main activities and responsibilities
  • In alignment with buying management team, work on Seasonal Buying assortment & order entry, understanding customer trends and market needs
  • Manage weekly trade action to help support in Season sales results
  • Responsible for creating new reports on product performance & analyzing results
  • Work closely with Allocation team, to manage in-season transfers/re-assortment of collection
  • Build relationship with store managers to help support store needs & requests
  • Work with Visual Merchandising Team to ensure visual guidelines represent the EU Seasonal Buy, pushing key investment pieces
Main requirements
  • The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 1 year Retail buying experience in fashion companies modernly structured. A degree in Economics is also considered as a plus;
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language
  • Mastery in the use of the main Office tools (particularly MS Excel)
  • Ability to work under pressure and multitask
  • Sharp business sense and passion for the world of fashion, good aesthetic sensibility and a personal interest in new trends.
  • Precision and detail orientation, goal orientation, flexibility and enthusiasm complete the profile
