About The Role

LVB is seeking an Equity Research Analyst with strong analytical depth and a high degree of intellectual curiosity. This person will dig into companies, industries, filings, and data; produce clear research notes and reports; support investment memo drafting; and help build conviction behind new investment ideas across public and private markets. It is a hands‑on role in a small team, ideal for someone driven, resourceful, and capable of independent research work.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct deep-dive company research (business models, economics, competitors, industry).
• Identify and evaluate structural industry trends to inform investment theses and long-term.
• Pressure-test company statistics, KPIs, and disclosures, and build clean, robust models (full).
• Lead and prepare management calls, challenging assumptions and testing strategies.
• Support drafting of investment memos with analysis, charts, financials, and key takeaways.
• Respond quickly to ad-hoc research requests with well-supported answers.
• Track earnings, guidance shifts, and catalysts with speed and accuracy.
• Present recommendations internally with clarity, data discipline, and intellectual honesty.

Candidate Profile

• 8–15 years of experience in equity research or investment analysis at a Tier 1 institution (sell-side: bulge bracket bank, or buy-side: hedge funds).
• Strong modeling skills and comfort working with imperfect or incomplete data.
• Deep intellectual curiosity and analytical rigor; ability to synthesize information and reach.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple workstreams simultaneously.
• Very strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to understand business models, competitive moats, and capital allocation.
• Proven ability to pressure-test company disclosures and validate fundamental data.
• High integrity, discretion, low ego, independent, and rigorous.
• Fluency in English is required.
