Competenze

• 5-6 anni di esperienza in progetti di energia rinnovabile, principalmente nella costruzione di impianti fotovoltaici e eolici.
• Esperienza con componenti e attrezzature tecniche in impianti eolici e fotovoltaici su larga scala.

Greenvolt Power Italy is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to contribute directly to the design and execution of our renewable energy projects. This role involves actively participating in the design, supervision, and construction of large-scale renewable energy initiatives, with a primary focus on solar PV, onshore wind, and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).

Key accountabilities

• Provide professional engineering advice and technical support for the design and construction of large-scale renewable energy projects, primarily focusing on solar PV, onshore wind, and BESS.
• Good understanding of project design drawings and able to participate in discussions with designers and BOP Contractors.
• Collaborate in the tendering processes (RFQ/RFP) in technical requirements and design.
• Support the definition, preparation, and control of documentation to ensure timely construction of renewable energy projects.
• In coordination with the procurement department, prepare technical documentation and scope for the bidding procedure for external suppliers.
• Schedule project steps and work to achieve the most efficient, timely, and cost-effective construction of solar PV, onshore wind, and BESS projects.
• Supervise and ensure that during the construction phase, the Building Permit and other permit requirements are respected.
• Report project status, recommend solutions, and inform about potential risks to the Board.
• Manage and supervise payment approval and document preparation processes in accordance with the project schedule requirements.
• Coordinate internal information flow within Development Team, Accounting, Legal, Procurement, Tax, HSE & Quality.
• Manage and control technical, Time Schedule, H&S, and Quality issues during the construction process.
• Interact with internal and external stakeholders during the grid connection process.
• Collaborate during the construction process and provide solutions to any design problems that arise, in coordination with the EPC company.

Qualifications

• Engineering background (preferably Electrical Engineer)
• 5-6 years of experience in Renewable Energy projects, mainly from PV and wind farm (Utility scale) construction.
• Experienced with the components and technical equipment usually installed in large-scale onshore wind, solar PV plants, and high voltage lines and substations.
• Experience in working with AutoCAD, MS Project, MS Office, Windpro, Wasp, PVsyst.
• Availability to travel around Italy in all areas where projects are.
• Knowledge of local regulations for connecting projects to the grid.
• Negotiation skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Good understanding of project design drawings and able to participate in discussions with designers and BOP/EPC Contractors.
• Good English language skills (written and spoken).
• Good reporting and teamwork skills.
