Candidates should have a degree in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering, proficiency with design tools like ePlan P8, and strong communication skills in English and Italian. A valid driver’s license is also required.

About the Role

Based in Monza, Italy, you will join our Automation Development team, responsible for designing advanced control systems and IoT solutions for Alfa Laval’s core products and customized projects. In this role, you will be involved in the electrical design and maintenance of automation systems, contributing to high‑quality, safe, and efficient solutions.

Your main tasks will include:

• Creating electrical design for machines’ automation cabinets
• Reviewing customer automation inputs and project specifications
• Estimating budget hours based on scope
• Performing electrical design calculations
• Participating in reviews and quality processes
• Coordinating design activity planning
• Collaborating across teams
• Supporting commissioning, test, and fault tracing

You are a passionate Electrical Design Engineer with a strong foundation in electrical and instrumentation engineering. You thrive in Agile environments and enjoy working across international teams to develop innovative automation systems. You’re detail‑oriented, collaborative, and eager to contribute to the full lifecycle of product development‑from concept to delivery.
