A leading engineering company is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer for a project in Parma. Responsibilities include designing electrical components and managing documentation. Candidates should hold a Master’s degree in electrical engineering and possess knowledge of electrical drawing software such as Eplan and Autocad. We are currently looking for a Electrical design engineer to support one of our projects in Parma.

Role Overview

• Be responsible of the electrical design of a sub-assembly and modules of equipment
• Create all the electrical variant module needed to cover the different platforms needs
• In charge of the electrical drawing and the bill of Material according standardization guidelines
• Participate to the conception design review, qualification review and FMEA
• Support supply chain team and external supplier in the different steps of the equipment Manufacturing

Level of education and languages

• Master’s degree or professional degree in electrical engineering
• Professional Italian
• Knowledge of English

Required experience and skills

• Knowledge on electrical drawing software such as Eplan, See electrical or Autocad
• Knowledge on calculation and electrical sizing tool (Caneco or other)
• Knowledge on industrial machinery norms EN60204-1, ISO13849
• Knowledge on SAP PLM
• Notion on North American norms UL508A, NFPA79 appreciated
• Knowledge on industrial PLC (B&R, Siemens or others)
• Knowledge on industrial network (Profinet, Powerlink or others)
