About the role

Veeam is searching for a focused, well-organized and highly-motivated individual to drive The Distribution in Italy. In this role The Distributor manager will win, maintain and expand relationships with resellers, system integrators, and Cloud Service Provider via the Distributor/Aggregator and will be responsible for achieving indirect sales targets, pipeline generation targets such as partner recruitment and readiness objectives.

The Distribution Manager is responsible to support the sale of Veeam Data Security Solution via the Distribution/Aggregation by recruiting, training and enabling channel partners and Cloud Service Providers together with the Distributors/Aggregators . The Distribution Manager must develop executive-level relationships with the CxO teams of the Distributors/Aggregators and coordinate all the activities with the sales/presales/inside-sales/marketing teams of the Distribution.

The role carries a sales quota and requires working closely with the Partner Channel Marketing team to drive joint demand-generation campaign and with field and inside Sales colleagues to manage and grow opportunities and cloud consumptions through Distributors.

Operating at a strategic level, the candidate will define the Distributor/Aggregator strategy in Italy to build comprehensive coverage in the market and to guarantee that the assigned target are properly approached and reached.

The Distribution Manager will work in an international contest having the possibility to share experiences and best practices and work in team with his peers in EMEA. The role will directly report to the Manager of Channel in Italy.

What you’ll Do
  • Achieve revenue targets and goals for the Italian territory
  • Develop and execute Business plans with the focus on pipeline creation and closing together with Channel and Cloud Service Provider recruitment and enablement
  • Support the Distributor/Aggregator to train and enable channel partners (resellers and Cloud Service Providers) with a special focus on SMB and aaS product portfolio
  • Work closely with sales and channel managers to orchestrate the order processing
  • Track record of accomplishment versus the target during regular Business Reviews (weekly pipeline review, monthly and quarterly QBR, MKTG activity’s review, etc…)
  • Plan and coordinate the marketing events (physical and virtual), the SoMe activities and all the communications in collaboration with the local Channel Marketing Manager
  • Coordinate all the activities for the digital transformation of the procedures and the processes integrations between Veeam and the Distributors/Aggregators
