Today, Pyou Global presents you with an exciting opportunity: for a historic and premium Italian company operating in the Food & Beverage industry, we are currently seeking a: GLOBAL SALES MANAGER – PASTRY & GELATO CHANNEL
Responsibilities
- Define and implement the global sales strategy for the Food Division (Pastry & Gelato), aligned with corporate commercial objectives.
- Lead, mentor and coordinate international and domestic sales teams (Country Managers, Export Managers, local subsidiaries).
- Build and deploy structured go-to-market plans across multiple geographies; open new markets and strengthen existing accounts.
- Drive business development activities that preserve and enhance the company’s premium brand positioning.
- Collaborate closely with senior leadership and ownership to translate vision into measurable commercial initiatives.
- Monitor sales KPIs, perform performance analysis and lead continuous improvement in sales execution.
- Work cross-functionally with Marketing, R&D and Supply Chain to tailor assortments, pricing and promotional plans for pastry and gelato customers.
- Represent the company at trade shows, industry events and with key strategic partners and distributors.
Candidate Profile
- 10+ years of proven commercial experience in premium Food companies, ideally with direct exposure to pastry, gelato/ice-cream, bakery or similar artisan/industrial segments.
- Strong strategic mindset with hands‑on experience leading international sales teams.
- Demonstrated success building premium brand presence and channel penetration globally.
- Experience managing distributors, key accounts (HORECA, artisan gelaterias, pastry chains) and professional channels is an advantage.
- Fluent in English (mandatory); knowledge of Italian and other languages is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to engage credibly with ownership and C-level stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel internationally (~50% of working time).
- Strong commercial acumen, analytical orientation and entrepreneurial drive.
