A leading art gallery in Rome is seeking an experienced Director to drive its commercial growth within the art markets in Italy and internationally. The successful candidate will work closely with a London team, overseeing the gallery's strategic direction, developing new client relationships, and contributing to an exceptional client experience. Applicants must have extensive experience with international galleries and strong knowledge of the Italian art market, alongside the ability to maintain confidentiality. Competitive salary with significant commissions.

Director (Rome Gallery)

We are seeking an experienced Director to lead our Rome gallery and drive its commercial growth across the Italian and international art markets.

The successful candidate will oversee the gallery's strategic and commercial direction, working in close collaboration with our London team to align exhibitions, art fairs and client development.

Applicants must demonstrate extensive experience in both the primary and secondary markets, established relationships with collectors, curators and institutions, and a proven track record of generating sales and building long‑term partnerships within Italy, and globally.

Only those who are eligible to work in Italy can be considered.

Salary: €50,000 – €80,000 per annum + sales commissions.
