Director of Operations - Chia Laguna Resort

Italian Hospitality Collection is a portfolio of luxury hotels, resorts, and spas located in some of Italy’s most iconic destinations. In the South of Sardinia, the Chia Laguna Resort offers a spectacular coastal experience and includes three distinct hotels: Conrad Chia Laguna Sardinia, Baia di Chia Resort Sardinia – Curio Collection by Hilton, and Hotel Village. The resort features 424 rooms, a 1,000‑m² spa, 2 beach clubs, extensive sports facilities, and a conference centre with 8 meeting rooms that can accommodate up to 900 delegates.

We are looking for a **Cluster Director of Hotel Operations** who will manage daily hotel operations and drive the brand’s service excellence, guest experience, and financial performance.

Core Job Responsibilities and Duties
  • Lead and manage daily hotel operations, including seasonal and strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting, managing balanced scorecard performance, implementing company policies and standards, coordinating capital and property improvement plans, responding to guest inquiries and concerns, and overseeing internal team communication.
  • Oversee service quality, guest satisfaction, and brand standards compliance, implementing Forbes 5‑star service protocol and Hilton Quality Assurance standards.
  • Drive financial performance based on established objectives, identify operational performance, productivity, and efficiency opportunities, and implement measures to maximize impact.
  • Implement and manage the hotel’s daily quality process, communicating goals, empowering team members, and managing service recovery techniques and problem resolution.
  • Monitor and develop team member performance, especially department heads and managers, through regular 1‑to‑1 feedback, leadership coaching, professional career development, annual personal development reviews (PDR’s), and recognition and reward programs.
  • Contribute to the commercial development of the Chia Laguna brand and its individual hotels, working closely with the Commercial Department to expand the Leisure and MICE segments. Implement upselling strategies to maximize total revenue in line with the brand’s positioning and profitability goals.
