We are looking for a DIRECT BUYER to join our Procurement & Supply Chain team :

WHAT YOU WILL DO

In this position, you will combine day-to-day execution with strategic category management. Your responsibilities will include :

  • Developing a strategic approach for your categories, engaging closely with key internal stakeholders.
  • Ensuring effective execution of daily purchasing activities and implementation of the category strategy.
  • Monitoring market trends to identify opportunities and lead cost-saving initiatives from concept to roll-out.
  • Sourcing, evaluating and qualifying new suppliers that meet Company standards for cost, quality, service and reliability.
  • Negotiating and managing contracts and framework agreements independently.
  • Supporting the Procurement & Supply Chain Office in identifying improvement opportunities and coordinating sourcing projects.
  • Managing and optimizing the assigned budget while contributing to Total Cost Ownership improvements.
  • Analyzing costs, performance and KPIs and recommending actions for improvement.
  • Acting as a key point of contact and promoting collaboration across departments, especially Engineering, Sales and Warehouse.

  • A degree in Engineering or another STEM discipline.
  • Experience in a similar role, ideally within a manufacturing environment and familiar with Lean principles.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a structured working approach.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and perform cost analysis.
  • Knowledge of supply chain management and Lean procurement methods.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
  • A team mindset and the ability to work effectively across functions.
  • A continuous‑improvement mindset and a strong desire to make a tangible impact.
  • Fluency in English.
