Your key responsibilities
  • Lead and deliver complex operational due diligence engagements, with a specific focus on carve-out implications, synergy assessments (cost, revenue, capex), and identification of operational risks and one-off/emerging costs.
  • Drive post-deal integration projects, supporting clients in the execution of value creation initiatives and realization of synergies.
  • Design and manage Integration Management Offices (IMO), including governance structures, workstream coordination, and KPI tracking.
  • Provide strategic support in defining and implementing the Target Operating Model (TOM), integrating operational and organizational models.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of Day-1 readiness activities to ensure business continuity between signing and closing.
  • Support the development and negotiation of Transition Service Agreements (TSA), ensuring effective delivery and monitoring post-closing.
  • Design and implement detailed 100-day plans to guide integration efforts and accelerate value realization.
  • Prepare and deliver management reporting tools to monitor business and operational KPIs throughout the transaction lifecycle.
  • Lead change management and internal communication initiatives to foster alignment and engagement across the organization.
Skills and attributes for success
  • Proven experience (7+ years) in M&A/transactions execution and transformation (consulting or corporate roles) with a strong exposure to post-merger integration, due diligence and synergy management.
  • Deep understanding of operational due diligence, synergy analysis, integration planning, and execution.
  • Strong project and program management skills, including the ability to coordinate multiple workstreams under tight timelines.
  • Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management capabilities, with the ability to consult and solution-oriented approach.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop actionable insights.
  • Effective communicator, both verbal and written, with the ability to tailor messages to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated leadership and people management skills, including the ability to coach and develop junior team members.
  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
  • Availability to travel, depending on client and project needs.
