Within the Engineering Area we are looking for a person for one of our Italian offices who will fill the position of Senior Configuration Manager. Following hiring at one of Leonardo's Italian offices, the selected person will be seconded to the Hague office for a period of 30 months.
The person will be responsible for Configuration Management in the context of complex programs for the management of supplies that include software developments.
The Senior Technical Configuration Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining the Configuration Management (CM) plan, ensuring adherence to CM policies, and regularly updating the plan to reflect project changes. They manage and control changes to configuration items, conduct configuration control board (CCB) meetings, and maintain records of configuration items and their status. Additionally, they conduct regular configuration audits, oversee project documentation, and manage CM tools and databases. They identify and mitigate configuration-related risks, liaise with project stakeholders for effective communication, and provide CM training and support to project staff. Their role ensures compliance with international standards, establishes and maintains configuration baselines, and supports contract management activities by meeting configuration requirements.

knowledge of the Configuration Management discipline applied to both software development and the management of complex supplies is required; the ability to use PLM and SCM tools is required; familiarity with the MS Office suite is required.
