We are seeking a talented Customer Category Manager to join our team in Italy.

The resource will be acting as a key point of contact for the Sales department and Marketing.

This role is pivotal in developing customer marketing plans and category strategy aligned with brand priorities and commercial objectives.

Activities & Responsibilities

The candidate will be in charge of:

  • Managing assortment and promotional policies, supporting the construction of promotional plans and monitoring performance (ROI, sell‑out, efficiency)
  • Partnering with Sales teams to identify marketing opportunities within key customer accounts
  • Analyzing and interpreting sell‑out, distribution, and promotional performance data
  • Define category strategy
  • Identify plan strategy on white spaces
  • Distribution strategy by products in the channel
  • Cross budget management
  • Driving improvements in assortment and folder share
  • Ensuring alignment with internal stakeholders across Marketing, and Sales functions
Qualifications

We need someone who is energetic, proactive, and curious, with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

They must have the ability to build effective relationships internally and externally and take personal responsibility for execution and results.

What you will need:
  • University degree or equivalent
  • 4+ years of experience in Category, Customer Trade Marketing, or Sales within FMCG
  • Good knowledge of GDO channels and FMCG dynamics
  • Fluent English and excellent command of Excel and PowerPoint
