Okta is hiring for a Country Manager – Italy to land and expand our footprint in Italy. This role is responsible for evolving and executing a GTM strategy, with a focus on winning more complex and scalable deals with our leading Okta Identity Cloud Solutions.

Managing a small number of Account Executives, the role will involve nurturing and growing the team further. Aligning our global strategy to the current and future opportunities in country and developing operational excellence in order to ensure unity when opening and closing deals.

Reporting directly into the Vice President of France. You'll be working closely alongside the RvPs of EMEA and Global. Ensuring that Italy is recognised at a top tier developing country with plentiful potential.

Our entity in Italy is based out of Milan.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and grow a team of Account Executives to achieve individual and team quotas;
  • Grow the accounts in Italy but leaning on your own network built from previous experiences in leadership and sales;
  • Support direct reports by participating and leading in client and prospect meetings or engaging other resources as required;
  • Embrace Okta’s #1 core value to always love our customers;
  • Quote, negotiate, and assist Account Executives in closing highly complex transactions through the development of executive-level relationships with key prospects;
  • Build effective working partnerships with your Okta colleagues (channel partners, sales engineering, business value management, customer first + many more globally!) with humility and enthusiasm;
  • Own the GTM Strategy for Italy with a focus on cross-collaboration, entrepreneurship and long term vision/planning.
Requirements
  • Deep understanding of the Italian Market and SaaS sales (Cyber Security being a plus)
  • Experience with scaling opportunities and leading and winning complex deals. Predominantly new business
  • Experience in building successful sales teams and attracting talent
  • Ability to deliver results in a global, matrix environment
  • Usage and understanding of MEDDPICCC and AI tools
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Fluent Italian and open to travel ~20% of the time
