You will join our Corporate Finance professionals in theEnergy & Infrastructure TeaminRomeand will contribute to first-class projects, developing unique skills.

Responsibilities

You will support the Energy & Infrastructure Team in Project Finance, Public-Private Partnerships and M&A transactions. In particular:

  • Developing, reviewing, and managing complex financial models for infrastructure and energy projects;
  • Reviewing business plans and complex financial models (including VBA-based models), ensuring logical consistency and mathematical accuracy, and providing clear outputs to the Team’s supervisors;
  • Reviewing term sheets and financing documentation, with a focus on the assessment of project bankability;
  • Preparing presentations, information memorandum, bank teasers, and analytical reports for lenders and clients in the context of Project Finance transactions;
  • Supporting transaction execution activities, including the financial close process, conditions precedent (CPs) fulfilment, and drawdowns;
  • Performing post–financial close activities, including financial advisory support, refinancing analysis, and contract management assistance.

Profile required

  • Master of Science or Bac+5 in a related discipline, such as Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering
  • At least 3-y experience in project finance, investment banking, infrastructure / private equity funds, large corporates or advisory / auditing firms
  • Fluency in Italian and English - written and spoken (most of the documentation is in English)
  • Other languages, such as French/Spanish would be considered a plus

Technical, operational & Soft skills:

  • MS Office knowledge
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel is mandatory due to modelling activity
  • Advanced knowledge of PowerPoint is mandatory due to Client Presentation activity
  • Experience in the Energy &Infrastructure sector
  • Ability to plan and schedule
  • Time pressure in delivering pitches and a strong team spirit will also contribute massively to the candidate’s professional and personal development

In addition, the ideal candidate has strong motivation, marked problem-solving skills and the ability to take active part in dynamic, international teams.
