The Role & What You Will Be Doing

The scope of Communication Specialist role is to support the Communications Team for the creation and implementation of both internal and external communication strategy being accountable for some specific activities as well as offering support to the different projects and initiatives.

Every day we rise to the challenge to make a difference and here’s how the Communication Specialist role will make an impact:

Internal Communication
  • Support the creation and implementation of the internal strategy: activities engagement projects for Viatris employees; preparation of communications related to different topics and areas of the company
  • Support the management of the different communication channels: corporate intranet, emails, Teams groups
  • Translate Global and Regional communications and give visibility to local initiatives creating communications in English to promote them
  • End to end corporate activities management: supplier management, communication material preparation, implementation, result analysis
  • Support the communication activities of the BUs: relationship with the marketing team, understanding of the needs, planning activities, management
External Communication
  • Support the creation and implementation of corporate TA and product external communication strategies. Channels: PRs, media partnerships, articles, interviews
  • ADV. Activities: development review approval process management
  • Support the management and update of the corporate website
  • Media coverage weekly analysis
  • Crisis communication management support
About Your Skills & Experience

For this role we’re looking for a candidate who has an effective combination of the following qualifications, skills and experiences:

  • Masters degree in communication
  • Ideally 2 years of experience in similar roles, preferably in communication agencies or pharma companies
  • Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading and writing English is required
  • Expertise in translating activities and video editing
  • Proficiency with Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams and Adobe
  • Preferably possess the following skills: curiosity towards the healthcare sector, proactivity, collaborative approach, eagerness to learn in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, project management approach
