Ideal candidates must have a degree in Civil Geotechnical Engineering and 10+ years of experience in petrochemical and oil & gas industries, alongside proficiency in Civil 3D, Autocad, and Plaxis.

It develops and implements innovative technologies supporting the energy transition and offers Sustainable Technology Solutions and Integrated E&C Solutions for fertilizers, hydrogen, CO2 capture, fuels, chemicals, and polymers – is seeking a Civil & Structural Geotechnical Engineer to join Tecnimont S.p.A., within the Civil & Structural function.

Key activities and responsibilities

As part of Civil team and in particular within the Geotechnical Group, Geotechnical Engineer will work with the Project Civil Leader with the following task :

• specifications for geotechnical and topographical survey;
• project specifications for earthworks;
• work requisitions for tenders;
• geotechnical interpretative report;
• if it is necessary to make use of external services, the Geotechnical Engineer collaborates in the identification of specialized suppliers, drawing up the relative technical specifications of the services, evaluating the offers received with the necessary technical opinion and coordinating / managing the suppliers ensuring the technical interface with the project team of the Unit to which they belong;
• of pile bearing capacities and shallow foundations;
• study of geotechnical surveys;
• follow up of geotechnical-structural interface engineering;
• where necessary the design of Soil– structure interaction.

Personal Attributes

• Degree in Civil Geotechnical Engineering and or Master on Geotechnical;
• minimum 10 years of experience in Geotechnical engineering in plant engineering companies in the petrochemical, oil & gas, power;
• experience in international working groups distributed in different locations (engineering centers or sites);
• fluent English speaker and writer;
• good knowledge of : Civil 3D, Autocad, Plaxis;
• full availability for transfers abroad at site and or office.
