The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, 4-8 years of relevant experience in concrete design, and proficiency in software such as AutoCAD and SAP2000. The Civil & Structural Concrete Specialist is generally assigned to a project and he / she is in charge of producing documents and deliverables assigned by the Civil Project Leader related to Concrete discipline. He / She reports to the Civil Project Leader or to the Concrete Specialist for the peculiarities of the project and to the Group Leader / Head of Department for man-hours assignment and quality of the deliverables.

In particular main activities and duties will be :

• To guarantee the quality of the generated deliverables and their compliance with the contractual and company standards, procedures and work instructions;
• To cooperate with the Project Leader and Concrete Specialists to the coordination of the activities related to the Concrete discipline, regardless the location and distribution of the engineering centers;
• To manage and issue design calculations reports and specifications, to check drawings and documents relevant to reinforced concrete and/or precast concrete, on the basis given by the Group Leader, in agreement with the Civil Project Leader;
• To integrate the Concrete work design on the basis of the project data received from other engineering disciplines as instructed by the Project Leader;
• To check and approve Vendor's document (i.e. subcontractor construction design documents );
• To guarantee assistance to the construction departments and site upon request, in reference to his area of competence, as per project needs and in coordination with the Project Leader;
• To conduct technical training as per department needs and exchange experience with colleagues of the entire Tecnimont Group for new Design techniques;
• To keep himself up-to-date about the technical specific improvement of the discipline;

Personal Attributes

• Minimum Bachelor, plus Master's degree in Civil engineering is preferred
• From 4 to 8 years of experience in concrete design / coordination, preferable in plant engineering companies in petrochemical, oil & gas, power or in a technical design office
• Good knowledge of European and international codes and standards
• Experience in working in engineering teams
• Good knowledge in AutoCad 2D drawings for modifying documents
• User friendly in Autodesk Navisworks
• Knowledge of collaborative environment such as BIM360
• Fluent English speaker and writer is a must
• Availability to travel for short and long period (max 3 months)
• Knowledge of FEM Civil & Structural Design Software, such as SAP2000, STAAD
• Knowledge of Autodesk Revit
• Experience in Precast and or Pre-Stressed concrete structures
• Basic knowledge of Project Management is a plus (e.g. Progress S-Curve)
• International background
