An innovative energy solutions company based in Milan is in search of a Building Automation Energy Project Manager. This role requires expertise in building automation systems and IoT, with a minimum of 5 years' experience. The candidate will support energy management teams and manage interactions with suppliers and subcontractors. A degree in engineering is essential, alongside good communication skills in English and French. This is a full-time position based in North Italy.

Building Automation Energy Project Manager

Area: Headquarters Milan / worksites North Italy

Employment: Full time

Reporting directly to the COO, the candidate will be responsible for:

• Supporting the energy management teams in drafting offers and projects for EMS/BMS systems, HVAC, technical refrigeration, and lighting systems, and for the construction of renewable energy production systems for clients in the commercial, tertiary, and industrial sectors.
• Interacting with the Italian Solutions department and the French parent company's HW/SW team during the TCP/IP connection phases of IoT/EMS/BMS/remote control equipment.
• Organizing purchasing from approved suppliers.
• Organizing HSE, managing subcontractors (system integrators) and coordinating progress and construction site accounting, up to final commissioning, interacting directly with professionals and Work Site general management.
• Managing the accounting of ongoing projects, collaborating with the administrative office.

Skills that the candidate must have:

• Degree in automation, electrical or mechanical engineering or technical diploma with subsequent specialization in automation or building automation.
• High level of expertise in the IoT field and in particular in building automation systems, EMS/BEMS and/or PLC systems.
• At least five years' experience in managing EMS/BMS installation orders or heat management orders with third party appointment or plant facility management with expert management of HVAC systems.
• Full familiarity with the use of ERP software for order management such as SAP, PROGESTNOW, STRvision or similar.
• Good familiarity with the main communication standards MODbus, M-BUS, BACnet, KNX, as well as TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, HTTP, LoRa communication protocols.
• Work experience or knowledge of software for creating reports and dashboards, preferably Microsoft Power BI.
• Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office package.
• Good knowledge of spoken and written English.
• Driving license B.
• Area of residence Lombardy or Veneto.
• Good knowledge of spoken and written French.
• Any PMP, IPMA, ISIPM, PRINCE2 or similar certifications.

The grading and salary level will be assessed according to the seniority of the candidate.
