What is Lumen?

Lumen is a newly founded, independent and No-profit Think Tank dedicated to research across the entire digital ecosystem —from technology and innovation to culture, platforms, and emerging systems.

We believe the digital frontier is too vast to be mapped alone. Our goal is to create a collaborative research space where knowledge is produced carefully, communicated clearly, and shared responsibly.

Lumen is currently in a pre-launch phase , which means you would be joining at the very beginning—helping shape not just the brand, but the institute itself.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a Brand Specialist / Brand Manager to join the founding team.

You are likely a university student or a recent graduate with a strong interest in :

  • Design and visual systems
  • Communication and storytelling
  • Branding, identity, and digital culture

Prior professional experience is not required . What matters most is your creative vision , aesthetic sensibility, and desire to build something meaningful from the ground up .

What will you do?

As Lumen's Brand Specialist, you will have full creative autonomy and responsibility over the brand. Your role will include :

  • Defining Lumen's visual identity and brand direction
  • Creating and maintaining a design system (visual rules, assets, guidelines)
  • Shaping and refining the tone of voice
  • Ensuring brand consistency across research outputs and communication materials
  • Following and guiding the evolution of the brand over time , from pre-launch to soft-launch and beyond

This is not a one-off branding task, but a role of long-term brand stewardship .

The position is remote and flexible

Expected commitment : around 10 hours per week , with full freedom to manage your own schedule .
