This Position reports to: Maintenance Manager
Your Role And Responsibilities
You will lead the processes in maintaining and preserving the efficiency of all equipment, production lines, and/or facilities, resulting in the optimization of technical and financial resources.
In this role, you’ll help run what runs the world by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact, as you will be accountable for:
- Troubleshooting and developing PLC systems, ensuring optimal performance and supporting automation improvements across production lines.
- Designing and maintaining dashboards and performance metrics to enable data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Overseeing ordinary and extraordinary maintenance of equipment, production lines, and facilities, defining maintenance plans for new installations and ensuring technical documentation is up to date.
- Leading technical problem-solving and improvement initiatives, addressing major equipment issues, proposing efficiency projects, and responding to emergencies to minimize production disruptions.
- Being the point of contact for the IS department regarding topics related to the data network and industrial PCs, with the purpose of staying up to date with IS policy.
Qualifications For The Role
- You are highly skilled in PLC troubleshooting and development, maintenance planning, and performance monitoring, and you enjoy working with industrial automation tools and methodologies in the manufacturing and engineering sector.
- You have at least 2 years of experience in industrial automation, with a strong background in PLC systems, maintenance operations, and production line optimization.
- You are highly adept in specialized automation platforms and have hands-on experience with dashboard and metric development tools.
- You are passionate about problem-solving and continuous improvement, and innovative around cross-functional collaboration and operational efficiency.
- You have a degree in Automation Engineering, with proven experience in managing technical documentation, maintenance strategies, and equipment reliability.
- You are at ease communicating in English and Italian, both written and spoken.
