A leading project management consultancy is seeking an Assistant to the Project Director for an EU funded project aiming to strengthen democratisation and governance. Ideal candidates will have a degree in project management, strong English skills, and at least 5 years of experience in international project management. This role is based in Italy, offering an opportunity to contribute to key international initiatives.

Competenze

• 5+ years in international project management or 2+ in Category III roles.
• Experience in budget and team management required.
• Logistics experience in EOM is an asset.

Mansioni

• Assist the Project Director in operational tasks.
• Manage project logistics and team coordination.

Overview

NTU International A / S is leading a consortium for the proposal preparation of the EU funded project called: EOM 2026 and is currently seeking qualified professionals to join the project team.

Project objective

The overall objective of this assignment is to :

• strengthen democratisation, good governance and conflict prevention;
• contribute to reducing inter alia the possibility of fraud, manipulation, intimidation which could undermine the electoral processes;
• improve the legal framework and conduct of future elections, as well as public confidence in the institutions;
• inform the European institutions on the conduct of elections in selected third countries.

Duration

The intended start date is 1 January 2026 and the period of implementation of the contract will be 48 months from this date.

Qualifications and Skills

• Degree or equivalent training / experience in project management or related field.
• Proficiency in English and EU EOM working language (C1).
• EU institutions knowledge (asset).

Experience

• Cat. II : 5+ years / Cat. III : 2+ years in international project management.
• Budget / team management.
• EOM logistics experience (asset).
