Job Title : ASPP Specialist

We are looking for a skilled and experienced ASPP Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in occupational health and safety, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to the RSPP in managing health, hygiene, and industrial safety activities. This includes collaborating with colleagues to develop guidelines, procedures, and protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Additionally, the ASPP specialist will be responsible for evaluating risks, verifying the suitability of external companies operating in the facility, and identifying preventive and protective measures for the DVR.

The role also involves supporting the Plant Manager in managing contracts for fire suppression systems, overseeing and maintaining firefighting equipment, selecting and training personnel on Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), disseminating the Occupational Safety Management System to all levels of the organization, and managing relationships with external entities for documentation on substances used.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the RSPP in developing and implementing occupational health and safety strategies
  • Support the Plant Manager in managing contracts for fire suppression systems
  • Oversee and maintain firefighting equipment
  • Identify and implement preventive and protective measures for the DVR
  • Disseminate the Occupational Safety Management System to all levels of the organization
Qualifications
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in the role, preferably in a chemical-pharmaceutical context
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • In-depth knowledge of current regulations related to workplace health and safety, particularly Legislative Decree 81 / 08 and Legislative Decree 105 / 15
  • Ability to analyze and evaluate risks
