A leading investment bank based in Milan is seeking a Junior Analyst to join their Telecom, Media & Tech team. The role involves supporting the execution of M&A transactions and developing financial models, along with preparing client presentations. Ideal candidates will have a Master’s degree in Finance or related fields and strong analytical skills, with fluency in both Italian and English required.

Competenze

• Previous experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity or Management Consulting preferred.
• Basic knowledge of financial modelling including 3-statement model.
• Solid understanding of main valuation methodologies such as DCF and Comparables.

We are now looking for a Junior Analyst to join the Telecom, Media & Tech team in Milan, supporting both origination and execution activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the execution of M&A transactions (sell-side, buy-side, carve-out, LBO) in the TMT sector
• Assist in developing integrated financial models, valuations and market analyses
• Prepare client presentations and marketing materials for both origination and execution
• Conduct industry and company research and draft company profiles
• Participate in internal discussions, client meetings and dedicated training sessions
• Previous experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity or Management Consulting (exposure to TMT is a plus, not a requirement)
• Relevant M&A experience with understanding of M&A transactions and processes
• Basic knowledge of financial modelling (including 3-statement model and business planning)
• Solid understanding and ability to model main valuation methodologies (FCFe, DCF and Comparables)
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and accuracy
• Good organizational skills and strong team spirit
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Fluency in Italian and English
• Master’s degree in Finance, Economics or Engineering from a top-tier university
