Administration and Accounting Specialist

Post Date : JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking an Administration and Accounting Specialist to keep us on track.

The ideal candidate will be systematic and detail-oriented, experienced with business administration systems, and passionate about visual arts and / or design.

Hours : 40 h. / week, Monday to Friday, 9 : 30 - 18 : 30

Job-type : full time, permanent position

Language : English desirable, but not required

DUTIES INCLUDE :

  • Manage and reconcile multiple bank accounts and company credit cards.
  • Pay both in-state and international sales tax (with the support of specially engaged accounting firms) monthly or quarterly, as needed.
  • Day-to-day admin activities.
  • Create estimates and invoices.
  • Overseeing the development and maintenance of hard-copy and electronic data management.
  • Compiling and analyzing information.
  • Developing and generating management reports.
  • Negotiating and managing service contracts.
  • Track results.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (REQUIRED) :

  • Exceptional problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail and accuracy.
  • 2+ years experience.
  • Strong sense of responsibility and dedication.
  • Able to maintain strict confidentiality in all aspects of work.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, analytical skills, service orientation, active listening and independent critical thinking.
  • Proficiency in the use of spreadsheet and database software.
  • Excellent computer skills and demonstrated ability to quickly learn various software programs.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
