Accounting Receivable Stage - Six Senses Rome

As an Accounting Receivable Stagiaire at Six Senses Rome, I will fully understand the company's vision to help people reconnect with themselves, others, and the world around them. Duties and Responsibilities

As an Accounting Receivable Stagiaire, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation of:

• Posting customer payments by recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions.
• Monitoring receivables by totaling unpaid invoices.
• Verifying the validity of account discrepancies by investigating information from sales, Front Office, F&B, and customers.
• Posting valid or authorized charges by entering adjusting entries in hotel accounts.
• Resolving invalid or unauthorized transactions following standard procedures.
• Managing collections by examining customer payment plans, payment history, and credit lines.
• Summarizing receivables by maintaining invoice accounts and coordinating daily transfers to the accounts receivable account.
• Protecting the organization’s value by maintaining confidentiality of information.
• Responding to inquiries from members, groups, and guests.
• Researching and following up on chargebacks.
• Collaborating with Sales/Events Managers to establish credit for upcoming groups/events and preparing final bills for clients.
• Ensuring compliance with governmental and company policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Compiling statistical, financial, accounting, or auditing reports related to cash receipts, expenditures, accounts payable and receivable, and profits and losses.
• Upholding Six Senses guidelines and standards of service and operations, maintaining and exceeding performance benchmarks.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

To succeed as an Accounting Receivable Stagiaire, I should possess the following qualifications, technical skills, and experience in a similar role within luxury hotels, with proven results:

• A degree in Finance or Accounting, and professional certification; a hospitality diploma/degree from a recognized hospitality school is preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Outlook, and Materials Control (MC), with ability to operate 10-key calculators and perform calculations. Familiarity with hotel systems including POS, PMS, and CRM platforms.
• Fluency in Italian and proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Eligibility to work in Italy.
