We are currently looking for a talented and enthusiastic Accountant to join our team in Milan.

What you’ll do

1. Record, classify, and manage the archive of accounting and tax records.
2. Prepare and issue invoices, bills, declarations, and other administrative and tax documentation.
3. Prepare data for periodic settlements and the annual VAT declaration.
4. Regularly reconcile suppliers’ and customers’ bank statements, and ensure timely updating of the books.
5. Ensure daily reconciliation of the stores’ cash balances.
6. Manage accounting records related to bank movements and perform monthly bank reconciliations.
7. Support the Accounting Controlling Manager in the preparation and monitoring of the cash flow plan and periodic cash flow reports.
8. Assist in the monthly closing activities, including preparing adjusting journal entries and gathering necessary data for year-end financial statements.
9. Respond to administrative requests from the Management Team.

What we’re looking for

• Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in accounting or a similar role.
• Background in economics or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Knowledge of Navision is considered a significant advantage.

• Salary range: €30,000 - €35,000 per year.
