A global biotech company is seeking an Account Manager to lead sales efforts in assigned territories. The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree in Molecular Biology and experience in Next Generation Sequencing. Successful candidates will possess excellent communication skills in English and preferably Italian, with a proven track record in sales and customer relationship management. This is a remote position from Milan, Turin, or Bologna, offering the chance to work independently while contributing to company growth.

Competenze

The Account Manager’s role is to ensure the achievement of sales within their given territory. The position will be responsible for managing all business accounts in the assigned region, creating strategies, and executing tactics to develop and implement sales plans that contribute to the company’s financial growth.

Location : Home-office from Milan, Turin or Bologna

Duties / Responsibilities

  1. Develop, establish, and implement an effective sales plan tailored to the territory and specific accounts to achieve the goals of the budget and financial growth of the territory.
  2. Maintain a current understanding and knowledge of the company’s products and services to provide accurate information to clients and customers.
  3. Manage existing accounts and expand the customer base in the territory, developing long-term profitable accounts.
  4. Participate in all sales activities and attend meetings.
  5. Travel as required.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Molecular Biology is required; PhD preferred.
  • Previous experience in Next Generation Sequencing is required.
  • Experience in sales within the Life Science industry is preferred.
  • Outstanding listening, verbal, and written English communication skills.
  • Business-level Italian communication proficiency is highly preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Proven success in generating new customer leads and building a business.
  • Ability to establish and maintain long-term customer relationships.
  • Independent worker, capable of working remotely from a home office.
