Qualifications:

• Diploma in Tourism / Hospitality Management
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role with proven track record
• Excellent reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English
• Proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage

• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and training skills
• Good communication and customer contact skills

Job Responsibilities:

1. Achieve daily targeted number of sales calls effectively
2. Develop business leads for the hotel weekly
3. Prepare monthly list of accounts to target for the following month
4. Plan at least 2 site inspections/entertainment meetings weekly for potential or new accounts
5. Prepare monthly action plans for main market segments
6. Review account profiles monthly, focusing on room night production and average rates
7. Monitor competitors’ rate strategies, account penetration, and marketing activities to maintain a competitive edge
8. Manage accounts, including contracting, updating profiles, and renewing contracts
9. Update management on VIP arrivals and coordinate meet and greet
10. Upsell, cross-sell, and promote hotel facilities and services to maximize revenue
11. Negotiate to achieve optimal profit and rates for the hotel
12. Attend hotel client and community events to network and maintain visibility
13. Report market trends and business leads to the Director of Sales & Marketing
