OVERVIEW
The Head of Sales is a strategic leader responsible for driving the resort’s commercial success. This role oversees all sales segments—MICE, corporate, leisure, wholesale, and international—while shaping long‑term strategies for market penetration and revenue optimization. We seek a visionary leader with deep industry knowledge, exceptional client engagement skills, and a proven ability to lead diverse teams in a 5‑star resort environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and continuously refine the resort’s commercial and sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share targets.
- Lead, mentor, and empower the Sales team to deliver high performance and exceptional relationship management.
- Strengthen presence in key domestic and international markets through proactive sales initiatives, roadshows, and partnerships.
- Build long‑term relationships with high‑value clients, global travel partners, event organizers, and corporate accounts.
- Oversee key accounts, performance metrics, rate strategies, and business mix to maintain optimal profitability.
- Collaborate closely with Senior Management and Ecommerce team on forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning.
- Drive innovation by identifying new market opportunities and enhancing competitive positioning.
- Ensure seamless handover of MICE and group business through effective communication with Operations and Events teams.
- Represent the resort at major industry forums, exhibitions, and trade events as a brand ambassador.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of progressive in rooms & MICE sales leadership experience in 5‑star hotels or resorts.
- Fulfilling the company's business targets to achieve budget hotels and being ready to make all forecasts as needed depending on the situation and conditions.
- Demonstrated success in driving commercial performance and leading high‑performing teams.
- Extensive network in corporate, government, MICE, and global travel trade markets.
- Strong business acumen with a strategic mindset and sharp analytical ability.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, communication, and decision‑making skills.
- Ability to guide large‑scale initiatives and manage complex market dynamics.
- Professional fluency in English is required; additional languages are an advantage.
