Are you an experienced Quality Inspector looking for a fresh challenge within the advanced engineering sector? We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team at a bespoke engineering facility in Manchester.

Responsibilities

1. Inspect jobs at various stages of the manufacturing process, including first-off, final inspection, and FAIR inspection, ensuring alignment with customer requirements.
2. Capture and analyze specific measurements as dictated by customer specifications.
3. Produce detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate records.
4. Utilize CMM/Inspection Arm software (ideally PC-DMIS and PowerInspect; however, training can be provided for other systems).
5. Collaborate with the engineering team to address quality issues and implement improvements.
6. Conduct occasional offsite work as needed.
7. Maintain a proactive approach to problem-solving, ensuring customer satisfaction.

Qualifications & Skills

1. Proven experience in Quality Inspection within Aerospace, Automotive, or similar regulated industries.
2. Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS), including AS9100 standards.
3. Familiarity with FAIR processes and various inspection tools.
4. Ability to read and interpret 3D Models & 2D drawings.
5. IT literacy, particularly with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
6. Excellent communication, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
7. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with flexibility to meet business needs.
