Job summary
A reputable manufacturing company in Colchester is looking for a Quality Inspector to start ASAP. Responsibilities include performing visual and dimensional inspections, utilizing measuring tools, and ensuring quality standards. Ideal candidates should have previous quality inspection experience, skills in engineering drawing, and a strong attention to detail. This position offers an hourly rate of £12.87 and is ongoing.
Qualifications
- Previous quality inspection or similar role.
- Previous experience with the listed measuring tools.
- Basic engineering drawing experience.
- Strong attention to details.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering workshop.
- Capable of meeting deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Carrying out visual and dimensional inspections.
- Using hand-held measuring tools for quality checks.
- Reading from engineering drawings.
- Supporting root-cause investigations.
- Reporting quality defects.
