Quality Inspector - Colchester, Essex - £12.87 an hour - ASAP start - Temp (ongoing)

We are working with a company located in Colchester, who are seeking a quality inspector to start ASAP. This company have a great reputation and are renown for producing high quality industrial fans and air conditioning system. If you have a keen interest in manufacturing / engineering, and you have the relevant skills listed below, this could be just for you!

Hours: 07:15 - 15:45 (Monday to Friday)

Pay: £12.87 per hour

Responsibilities

• Carrying out visual and dimensional inspections
• Hand held measuring tools e.g. Verniers, Micrometres, Gauges, Calipers
• Reading from Engineering drawings
• Supporting root‑cause investigations
• Reporting any quality defects

Ideal candidate

• Previous quality inspection or similar role
• Previous experience with the listed measuring tools
• Basic engineering drawing experience
• Strong attention to details
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering workshop
