Job summary
A local recruitment agency is looking for experienced Care Assistants to provide weekend support in a residential service in Dronfield. The role involves assisting elderly residents and those with learning disabilities, ensuring a safe environment and following care plans. Pay starts at £12.21 per hour, increasing after 12 weeks. Candidates must have experience in UK care homes and an up-to-date DBS check. Ongoing weekend work is available for the right candidate.
Qualifications
- 12 months experience within a UK Care Home Setting.
- Able to provide references covering the last 2 years of work.
- Have an in-date enhanced DBS check dated within the last 6 months.
Responsibilities
- Ensure a safe and caring environment for residents.
- Provide support with daily activities following care plans.
- Perform daily duties and complete required paperwork.

Local work available between Chesterfield and Sheffield as an experienced Care Assistant within a residential service providing extra care needs.
QS Care are recruiting for experienced care assistants to work weekend hours in Dronfield. The care home supports elderly residents and some with learning disabilities. Working for our agency, you will be ensuring they in a safe and caring environment. You are required to provide support with the daily activities, following their care plan and requirements, performing daily duties and completing paperwork.
You will be working from 06:00 to 13:00/14:00 on Saturdays and Sundays. Rate of Pay is £12.21 rising to £13.33 per hour after 12 weeks. We also pay an unsociable hour rate between 7pm and 7am at £16.24 per hour.
- 12 months experience within a UK Care Home Setting
- Able to provide references covering the last 2 years of work
- Have an in-date enhanced DBS check dated within the last 6 months, ideally on the update service if not
